Since he joined the Flyers, Propper has enjoyed a good cigar ever since, mostly in the summer when playing golf. He recently made the bold decision to create his own cigar brand hand made in the Dominican Republic. Propper was known for his unique goal celebration dubbed "The Guffaw". After scoring a goal, he would skate towards center ice, place his right glove under his left arm and raise his right arm in a waving fashion. While making the gesture, Propp would say, "Guffaw!". Propp credits the celebration to comedian Howie Mandel.
In commemoration of his 426 goals he is proud to introduce his Limited Edition “Guffaw Cigars”. Each of the first 426 boxes carries a sequential number from 1 to 426. The cigar is a 56 ring by 5” Robust Gordo made with carefully hand-selected premium ingredients. The wrapper is a Corojo Ecuador and the fillers are a blend of the finest Dominican and Cuban secos and ligeros. The resulting flavor is a medium body with a smooth and rich flavor. Welcome to the taste of Guffaw. Enjoy!!!
